Digital Democracy Workshop 2024
As in previous years, our team attended the two-day Workshop on Digital Democracy hosted by the Digital Society Initiative Zurich. Again, the workshop was an inspiring event with panels on Political Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Public Policy & Opinion, and others.
This year, Valeria Vuk presented her work in the “Content Moderation” panel. Her talk “Improving the Diversity of Online Discussions using LLMs” gave insights into the use of AI moderation in online discussion platforms. It extended previous work presented at EDDY 2024 with data analysis of a first user experiment. The work will be continued with additional experiments in joint work with Fabrizio Gilardi and Cristina Sarasua.
